Weekender: What to do Saturday, May 21, 2016

Tomorrow, the Ocean View-Merced Heights-Ingleside Community Participation Project will host an antique car show on Lee Avenue at Ocean Avenue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. I interviewed Maria Fe Picar, the organizer for OMI-CPP to learn more.

Alexander Mullaney: Where did the idea come from?

Maria Fe Picar: The idea was inspired about two years ago when OMI-CPP talked about having something different as an event on the corridor and the car show idea came up. We talked about no one else around here—well, maybe Excelsior—having one, so why couldn’t we?
